Horsens in english.

On Saturday 6th of May, again, there will be a rush down Søndergade when the city association holds its stiletto run

Horsens: There is a dedicated field of runners that will be looking at each other on the red carpet on Søndergade this Saturday, May 6th. This will happen when namely the last year's big audience success "Q-week's stiletto run" that attracted many excited looks to the sunny afternoon on Søndergade will namely be repeated.

This year there will be tickets for 24 runners, so it's a narrow field in the struggle to become Horsens' fastest woman in stilettos.

Last year's winner Helena Jacobsen is back as well to defend her title.

Just like last year it is Horsens & Friends' Director Frank Panduro and Horsens & Friends' Mayor Karen Laursen that will be the judges of the stiletto run. The host is "Lille Flemming" also known as Flemming Jensen.

People sign up through CityHorsens, and it costs 100dkk. plus additional fee for joining. On the other hand, there are good chances to win a prize as there are many other prizes that are awarded. The fastest woman also wins the main prize and gets a lot of prizes- including use of a car for three months, shoes, hotel accommodation, sunglasses, lingerie and flowers. All prizes are sponsored by local businesses.

There are also prizes for number two and three, as well as prizes for best racing style, wildest hair and funniest outfit.

There are high demands on the stilettos, which must be at least 6 cm high, as well as the maximum width under that must be maximum 1x1 cm.

And then those who want to attend must be 18 years to participate.
