Horsens company to build a museum in Copenhagen for almost 100 million kr.

HORSENS - Base Erhverv, who have headquarters in Horsens and a department in Roskilde, have won the main contract of a big construction project for Copenhagen Municipality.

 

The municipality wishes to collect archives and magazines for Copenhagen's City Archives, Thorvaldsens Museum, Copenhagen's Museum and Nikolai Kunsthal in a new remote archive and a museum magazine in Høje Taastrup. For that almost 8000 sq. m. in two floors will be built, and Base Erhverv will head the construction work - in cooperation with engineering firm VIggo Madsen A/S and architect firm Nord A/S.

 

The contract sum is 92 million kr. excluding VAT.

 

Ready in June 2018

Base Erhverv, who have so far built about a 100 industrial buildings over the hole country, expect to cut the first sod for the new museum archive in the beginning of July. The handing over to the owner is expected to happen in June 2018.
